For Literature Buffs

This is for who ever likes to read English or American Literature. From Jane Austen to Mark Twain. (It is pretty weird to put their names together)

I found a very cool Web Site that has about 70 books and a few 100 short story's online. They don't have every thing and you have to read it online unless you can print it off but it is nice if you need a book that they have.

The Web Site Name is: http://www.literaturecollection.com

Check it out if you like.

Sincerely BOstan~

What Book is It??

I wonder if you can guess this quote; beginning or ending paragraph from a book.
Suggest the book and author.

Clues-

Female writer- Born in England, 1849- and it is a story about a little orphaned girl-

"When Mary Lennox was sent to Misselthwaite Manor to live with her uncle everybody said she was the most disagreeable-looking child ever seen. It was true, too. She had a little thin face and a little thin body, thin light hair and a sour expression. Her hair was yellow, and her face was yellow because she had been born in India and had always been ill in one way or another..."

Any Suggestions???

Yet To Read: The Hunger Games, BY Suzanne Collins

Title: The Hunger Games
Author: Suzanne Collins
Reading Level: Young Adult
Pages: 384
Publisher: Scholastic press (September 14, 2008)

Yet To Read: Is about a book that i haven't read before, but i want to. And Most Plot Descriptions are from Amazon.

Plot: The United States demands a tribute from each of its territories: two children to be used as gladiators in a televised fight to the death. Sixteen year old Katniss , from what was once Appalachia, offers to take the place of her sister in the Hunger Games, but after this ultimate sacrifice, she is entirely focused on survival at any cost. The fight contestants must battle harsh terrain, artificially concocted weather conditions, and two teenaged contestants from each of Panem's districts. Although Katniss may be skilled with a bow and arrow and adept at analyzing her opponents next moves, she has much to learn about personal sentiments, especially her own.
