False Colours, by Georgette Heyer

Rating: 4/5

Story: 4/5

Characters: 4/5

So i have been reading this in my Book Club and i really liked it. It had so many refreshing aspects to it. Most of it is dialogue and i found that really nice and wonderful. The character are really put together and i have my favorites which is cool.

The story starts off in describing you whats happening. Younger Twin Kit Fancot arrives home where he finds his mother in a sad state. His older Twin Evelyn the irresponsible of the two has not come home to his appointment, two meet the young Miss Cressy's Grandmother who can approve of their engagement or not and everything depends upon this visit. So Kit's mother gets it into her head that he must pretend to be Evelyn for this one evening. Kit at first is unwilling but after long persuasion he consents and the hoax begins. Will Miss Stavely look more into the changes of this Evelyn? And what if something serious has happened to him?

The story goes on and unravels itself, and then ravels again into a tangle, With many colourful characters this is a very lively and simple but complex story.
